In Cartago, late at night a selection of car enthusiasts gathered to make noise and show off their paint jobs and custom car accessories. In an event organized by the Costa Rican Red Cross exhibitors proudly displayed their gullwing doors, custom art, neon lighting, and hydraulic modifications. The sound of booming stereos, food stands, and models excited the local boy racers.
